Our Story
Nicole and Michael met at a pre Super Bowl party last year. Michael noticed Nicole when she walked into the room and thought she was beautiful. The two briefly made eye contact and spoke to one another but that was all. Until, Nicole got a call a few days later from a mutual friend who gave her Mike's number and said "he wants you to call him." Nicole took the number but did not call him. A couple weeks later at the urging of the mutual friend she decided to give him a call. Michael invited her out to dinner a few days later. When Michael arrived he had balloons, a card and Valentine's Day candy for Nicole. What a gentleman! The two enjoyed a nice evening of dinner and conversation and decided to plan a second date.
Soon after that the two began a close knit courtship and the rest is history.
On December 22, Nicole and Michael spent the day running errands and preparing for Michael's dad's birthday party which was that afternoon. After the party, the couple went to Michael's parent's house to unwind before heading to another Christmas party that night. Michael handed Nicole a custom designed elephant dressed in Santa gear, Nicole looked at it and said that it was cute, thinking it was a gift for his god daughter. Michael asked Nicole to squeeze the elephant's leg, when she did a recording in Michael's voice said "I love you, will you marry me." Nicole looked at Michael and asked what this was about and he asked her to open the Elephant's pouch, inside was a stunning diamond ring. Michael asked Nicole in his own voice again, "Will you marry me" and with tear filled eyes she said Yes!
